weekend in OH

I met this family when I was in college and signed up for the "adopt a college student program" at the church i was attending. We were matched and I started going home with them after church for lunch and hanging out for the afternoon. Since then, they have included me as part of their family and they have been such a blessing in my life. I have loved their transparency in their struggles and the way God has worked in their lives. I have loved watching them raise their children. I have loved playing games, jumping on the trampoline, and other varieties of activities enjoying life with their kids. I have loved learning more about God because of the time I spend with them. In short, they have been very special to me.

So one thing I've enjoyed about being back in the states is the occasional trip up to OH to catch up with them in person.

We celebrated Christmas last weekend while I was there. I surprised them with Ale8... which the dad had made a casual comment about last time I was there that I latched onto as a gift idea.

These girls have grown up so much since I met them 6ish years ago. Love them! (ps I love the other kids too, this was just the best picture)
